Intelligence reports from domestic resources raise the Nations Roadway Alert Status to Hot Pink. This is in response to DEER UNITE’s promise to wreak havoc across the roadways of America. DEER UNITE is a Quadruped Outlaw Group made up entirely of White Tail Deer. Little is known of this fugitive gang but it is believed to have an Anti-Deer Hunting Agenda.
DEER UNITE released a statement saying, “In response to the unprovoked killings of innocent deer across the county during the upcoming Hunting Season, we have no other choice but to fight back the only way they know how”. Sources speculate DEER UNITE will strive to cause roadway chaos by initiating (DEER on Auto) and (DEER on Motorcycle) Accidents throughout the next four months. . Experts also speculate that DEER UNITE will focus on bringing down motorcyclist throughout the 2012 Hunting Season.
Use extreme caution while riding this season; you never know when a White Tail Deer will have you in his bull eyes as your ride down a majestic rural road.
This is a fictitious news story used to warn fellow motorcyclist about crazy deer that always seem to be jumping in front of motorcyclist on the open roadways during hunting season. Be careful, it’s Deer Madness out there.

I propose that all local municipalities and the federal government revoke the designated deer crossings (indicated by the sign above) across the nation until this outlaw group is brought to justice. I hate to penalize peaceful groups amongst the Elk and Moose communities, but unfortunately, something needs to be done!

I second your motion, Deer have crossed the bloody line and we must draw the line in the sand.
Moose in general seem so mello and chill but those Elk seem so stuck on themselves. Well maybe I just have Elk Antler Envy.

I’ve clipped a deer in the car and sure as hell would not want to tangle with one while on my bike! This fella was incredibly lucky http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZAjJ-g0UDw

Agreed! They are rats with horns. They’ve run in front of me all times of the year but they are especially bad during the fall and winter months.

It’s like avoiding bugs near my house during Hunting Season. All we can do is keep an eye out on the road.

I’ve seen quite a few raccoon, skunk, and deer dead in the road lately. Cagers I believe. ‘Tis the season to ride even more careful!

BikerMonkey- You have deer in Texas plus those nasty minions, the dreaded Armadillo. Those rascals are not only wiley but also armored.
Deer + Armadillos = Shenanigans
